Globill’s core product for Cloud also enables organizations to empower their solution with the addition of Globill’s Chargeback solution which provides the ability to analyse and calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). This provides valuable insight to the usage, cost and rooms for optimization in an IT infrastructure, based on actual utilization and costs.

Globill’s advantage in this module is the diverse nature of inputs taken into the calculation of the TCO. This includes utilization costs, maintenance fees, utility costs, staff costs and miscellaneous cost, which allows for a more accurate understanding of how costs are being allocated through an organization. In addition to this Globill provides comprehensive showback which allows multiple logical structures to be created to view how TCO can be allocated or how it is allocated in a different logical structure - e.g. a departmental allocation vs. a geographical allocation.

Another significant advantage to a business as part of chargeback is the ability to view detailed reports on utilization as it is allocated per virtual machine or across the organization.
